Nick underwrites a broad spectrum of environmental risks, including manufacturing, petroleum product storage, real estate, road and rail, waste management, transactions, brownfield redevelopment, and contractors’ pollution liability. He previously underwrote environmental risk in Canada, and has 17 years of technical underwriting experience in Toronto, ON, at Zurich, AXA XL, and Beazley. Before he joined the insurance industry, he spent a decade in contaminated land consulting in the UK and Canada.
